About the author

To those I haven't had the chance to meet or have only encountered in a limited professional capacity, I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Dominic Churchill, and I am a capital markets professional based in Australia with a decade of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and investment management. You can find my complete resume here.

At present, I hold three roles. The first is as a Director at Peloton Group, where I provide technical valuation advice for ASX reporting compliance, litigation and dispute matters, and transactions. The second is as an Executive Director at Berkeley Capital Partners, where I specialise in real estate and corporate debt structuring and placement. Lastly, I serve as the founding Managing Director of River Glyne Investment, an investor that specialises in buyouts and special situations for private and public companies in Australia.

For those of you who have worked with me before, you know that I am incredibly passionate about my work. I am always seeking to gain a complete understanding of any given situation, rather than just focusing on a narrow view.

I see performing these three roles as a necessity for my professional objectives and gives me a unique perspective for the benefit of clients:

Valuation: the identification of value and risks to that value

Capital markets: the pricing and covenants of capital for investment

Investment management: combining the insights of (1) and (2) to catalyse and ultimately realise value

This is the lens through which I view the financial and investment world, and my hope is that my perspectives can offer practical and alternative insights to the readers of this blog.

Happy reading!
